Warped Views, Distant Times behind the scenes and teaser shots.
Warped Views, Distant Times is a brand new exhibition, that opened Sat June 14th 2014 at RedWillow Macclesfield, exploring a tale of intrigue, deceit and heroism set in the Steampunk age (the fantasy era of a Victorian Steam-powered future as epitomised by writers such as H.G.Wells, Jules Verne and H.P.Lovecraft). Expect spectacular outfits with waistcoats, hats, goggles, weapons and corsets aplenty, dastardly villians and alluring villainesses and a selection of magnificent machines all which will be revealed as the story unfolds and which will be displayed as part of the exhibition. The exhibition itself opens at Redwillow Bar ( http://www.redwillowbar.com) at 32a Park Green, Macclesfield, Cheshire with a grand opening on Sat 14th June complete with a Steampunk themed party (fancy dress optional). The exhibition's primary artists are Steve Thornhill http://stevethornhillphotographer-digitalartist.weebly.com/), myself Simon Brown and Carol Hutchinson who have been making unique props and costumes, as have many of our models and we have been doing photo shoots in a number of unique locations near and far. We will shortly open a gallery of the shots in the exhibition including the ability to buy prints online. To order framed prints as displayed, which will be made available at the end of July then please e-mail warpedviews@hotmail.com to reserve.
